Raemon Sluiter makes his comeback next year as a professional tennis player. The 30-year-old put in Rotterdam in February at the ABN Amro tennis one point behind his career, but is now back on that decision. Wednesday, he will at a press conference in Rotterdam explain his decision.
The decision follows Sluiter over a week after his announcement to quit as coach of Thiemo de Bakker, who he guided to a part-time basis. At the farewell Sluiter in February he occupied the 171st place in the world. 46th place in early 2003 was the highest position he ever held.
Sluiter reached the finals in his career of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Amersfoort. It succeeded him never to ATP title to win.
